PC class TP-1 tank car 799000 was the only revenue tank car rostered by the Penn Central. Built by the PRR in 1966, it was a one-of-a-kind car known as the "Rail Whale," and it rode on two six-wheel trucks. It is seen here at Logansport, Indiana, in March 1978. Photo by Gary Stuebben. (53 K)
