All the Athern Cars are based on the Budd Prototype, I find them kind of 
toy looking, not realistic enough.  I think Rivarossi's 1940's Budd Coaches 
are realistic enough, however they don't make them in PC Scheme.

In N scale however, I've learned that Kato/Con-Cor made PC Smoothside 
coaches in the 1970's those are just what I'm looking for.  Unfortunately 
they don't make them in HO.  Oh the modeler's dilemma.

Why not cut up/modify Athearn streamlined cars? For my small layout, the
shorter length is perfect.
