Re: PC: Half GG-1

I found an old postcard postmarked 1953 of a half GG-1 pulling a passenger
train under the Susquehanna River Bridge, Pennsylvania Turnpike.  It looks
like maybe 3/4 of one, or a hybrid of an E unit and a GG-1.  Must have been
some artistic license.  Note there are no pantographs.  Was this area even
electrified?
