Ahh, Railfanning for the general public.  It's a wonder that the media gets anything right.  
Acela runs on lines that date back to the Great Depresion.  Really.  And they seem quite impressed by this.  With a little homework they might have discovered that some parts of the route predate the Depression by about one hundred years.  Dope slap and a dunce cap for the producers.
Of course I'm still going to watch it anyway.
