PC: Anniversary of the end

Hey gang,

Don't forget that 23 years ago today, our favorite railroad passed out of
existence and into the federally-owned Conrail. (The holding company, Penn
Central Corporation, survived, but Penn Central Transportation Company, the
railroad, went into Conrail.)

Speaking of Conrail, today is Big Blue's 23rd (and unfortunately, last)
birthday. And who would have thought in 1976 that Conrail would be where
it is today?
