The PC units that I saw back in the 70s with the window mesh screen over
them were GEs # in the 2500 series? These were all frieght locos and on
occasion would rotate into Conway. I don't know if they worked the
corrider but another trouble spot was the Clevland area. We had some
crews robbed at gunpoint on engines and cabooses up around there in the
70's.
