PennDOT and PHMC to Unveil New `Preserve Our Heritage' License Plate at
theRailroad Museum of Pennsylvania, Strasburg.
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Secretary Bradley L.
Mallory will join supporters and railroad enthusiasts at 10 a.m., Tuesday,
Dec. 22, at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, Route 741, Strasburg,
Lancaster County, to unveil the new "Preserve Our Heritage" license plate.
Also participating will be Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission
(PHMC) Chairman Janet S. Klein and Executive Director Brent D. Glass; Sen.
Edwin Holl (R-Montgomery); Rep. Rick Geist (R-Blair); and PennDOT Deputy
Secretary Betty Serian. The public may purchase and register the new
license plates after the unveiling. The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is
one of 28 PHMC-administered historic sites throughout the Commonwealth.
Directions to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania: Take Pennsylvania Route
283 East to U.S. Route 30. Follow U.S. Route 30 East to Pennsylvania Route
896 South. Follow Route 896 South to the junction with Pennsylvania Route
741. Take Route 741 East. The museum is about two miles on the right.
