The MBTA (Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority) also maintains a
locomotive in retro-scheme.  Ex- BN GP9 #1921 graces the Boston-area rails
adorned in the earlier Maine Central/ Boston and Maine, Minuteman red with
gold stripes scheme. For those who are not from the Boston area and are
