The book "The New York Connecting Railroad" has little Penn Central
content.  A handful of photos and a few paragraphs that effectively say:
And then, everything went to hell.
 There are a fair number of factual and proofreading errors concerning
the New Havens' operations on this road.  I haven't heard if the
information for the PRR and LIRR is any more accurate than that for the
New Haven.
 Plenty of neat photos.
