Speaking of locomotive bells...

         I wish I had the connections back during the 1980s like I do
now. I would have definitely grab a few of the bells off the GG1s and
E44s as they were going to scrap. More so the E44s. Their bells were off
K4s. I've been told that the number of the steam locomotive it came off
of is either on the top or inside the bell.
        Did the bells of EMD diesels have the "EMD" logo on the bell?
Same with GE or ALCo?  I see diesel bells all the time at trainshows but
how can you tell what locomotive it came off of? Any experts out
there......
