When Conjob was broken up between the Norfolk Southern and CSX, old reporting marks were dusted off to denote the new equipment owners. CSX's allotment of engines and cars all received temporary NYC marks, and NS used PRR.
What surprises me is that the shoppers kept the temp identity instead of fully relabeling it as a CSX car. There's probably some arcane reason behind it.
