As to what Erie Lackawanna said I disagree with him 100 pecent. If Penn 
Central was allowed to do what conrail did they would of done the same thing. 
If memory serves me correctly They wanted to abandoned all of the lines that 
werent used and were double.the only difference was that conrail was at one 
time gov't run. i could sit here all day and what if everything to death but 
I won't.The only thing I will say is that it was a mistake to devide up 
conrail!
