PC: Re: Oddball car



Actually that's how Chuck Yungkurth built an O-scale model of this car, an
X71 I think.   Basically a 70' boxcar with double doors spaced so they
divide the car into about thirds?

I'm not sure what this was for either but if someone has the book on the
Elmira Branch I know for sure a plant on that line got oddball extra-long
cars like this - to haul fire engines - there may be something on it in
there.
