	Yes, only NS presumed that everyone would do as they demanded. 
	CR people have left rather than be forced into operations that they 
	felt were incorrect and knew wouldn't work.

	Both NS and CSX underestimated the amount of traffic that Conrail
	was handling efficiently. They wanted the routes, but misjudged how
	to handle the load. NS KNOWS how to run a railroad, but they don't
	know how to run a northern railroad that prided itself on just in 
	time delivery to factories and on Trail-Van service. Two or three
	days are not good enough when you've been getting your merchandise
	delivered within minutes of the scheduled time.

	PC was doomed because of the battle between the Red and the Green.
	CR proved that it could have worked. NS is proving that they really
	don't know much about railroad people. These people, many of whom
	worked for PC as well as the other roads, won't put up with NS 
	methods and will walk rather than submit. BNSF has picked up
	a number of ex-CR people and CSX is also getting more CR people
	as well.
