PC: Athearn PC GP38-2 & DT&I GP40-2

Gents:

What is the paint and lettering quality on this loco?  I have seen some
recent Athearn stuff that is nice, and some (older?) that is not so nice.
Is it worth it or would it be better to get an undecorated model and paint
and decal it (no problem for me).

PC interchange related:  Athearn also announced a DT&I GP40-2, is it out and
how does it look?
