Gee, sounds like it may be time for someone to do a fresh, unbiased, history 
of the PC, with the benefit of both modern hindsight and the few existing 
books, and tracing the history right to to Conrail, or possibly briefly even 
up to NS/CSX for the entire picture of the impact on railroading today.
