OK gang, I think it's time we put this thread to bed and moved on
to something more on-topic, as we've gotten WAY off topic here....
One point of information I'll mention that has been touched on a
little bit--a railroad's initials aren't necessarily its reporting
marks. For example, Nickle Plate Road locomotives were marked
"NYC&StL", even though the line's reporting marks were NKP. It
just goes to show that it doesn't necessarily matter how a railroad
letters its power (and to a degree, cars), but rather, what the AAR
and the FRA say a railroad's reporting marks are.
ObPC: I have received a large number of new images for the web site,
including some odd and unusual power. I'll try to get them posted
when I can.
Thanks,
-Jer
