A couple of years ago, we had 3PC GP35s still in PC paint go through
Conway. They came through the servicing tracks along with a couple of
other units that were retired. Most had been used for parts. Almost all
had "dummy" wheels and the few that still had traction motors had the
leads snipped off up to the carbody. We dispatched them West a couple at
a time on train PIEL(Pittsburgh-Elkhart). Where they went from there I
don't know George Alberti
