Easy way to get to em is to go to 
http://www.railfan.net/railpix/ABPR/january99/

Click on the day you are looking for and it should contain ALL the
pictures from that days postings to the alt.binaries.pictures.rail
newsgroup...hopefully Mr. Foster's posts make it thru the grabber program
but since he uses Outlook Express to upload his posts they may or may not
be there.  The way in which Outlook Express encodes attachments does not
get along well with the Unix based news grabber program.
