They were GP38-2`s not GP38`s .Can`t remember numbers and loaned out my
copy of Penn Central Power.I think they were in 8100`s.

     I believe there may have been a few GP38s ordered with
     both control stands.   A majority of the power ordered after
     William Moore became president of PC in 1972 was ordered
     this way, since Mr Moore came from the Southern where they
     ran long hood first
