Jerry, Read your report and thoroughly enjoyed it. In response to your comment
about the commuter trains and grade crossings on Long Island, I think the
reason that they don't have many problems with crossing accidents is that
drivers in this area have a real respect for trains. I really believe that
this is something that they learn from  the time they are young. I am not from
NY but having driven throughout the city too many times to count my opinion is
that these drivers are really pretty well behaved and drive pretty carefully
but just a little too fast at times.
