NS Is Stepping Up Tresspassing Prosecution! 


Just a note to Norfolk Southern and NS territory Conrail railfans: We
had a long conversation with an NS cop on our way out of the Silver
Creek "Railfan Spot" and the upshot is that NS is clamping down BIG
TIME on railfans. This means that if you are caught on NS property
from now on YOU WILL BE PROSECUTED FOR TRESSPASSING. NS is making no
bones about the fact that THEY HATE RAILFANS and consider us to be the
scum of the earth! If you think this is as rotten a thing to do as we
think it is, please visit Norfolk Southern's Roanoke Marketing Page
and use the email addresses and phone numbers there to let NS know how
you feel about it. We fans of Conrail in NS territory are about to
lose an awful lot of traditional trainwatching spots! We will be
starting a public forum here where interested parties can share
experiences both good and bad with everyone in the near future. We
believe there can be a middle of the road solution to this ongoing
problem.
