Hey all...
Was in Chicago Union Station yesterday, coming in on Metra's BNSF line,
and I saw a couple oddities that I am a little curious about. First,
there was a NYC baggage car on one of the easterly tracks, kinda by the
Amtrak facilities...anyone know its purpose, or whatever? The other,
though not having to do anything with the PC, PRR, or NYC, interested
me, and I was wondering if anyone out there has any clues on the matter.
There were several GO Transit commuter coaches in the amtrak facilities,
even some on their trains...I counted roughly a dozen or so around the
area. All info is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
