PC: Major Update!

Hey gang,

I have just completed a major update to the Penn Central Railroad
Home Page. Lots of new stuff went in tonight. New photos were added
in the New Haven and Work Equipment Photo Galleries. The Sightings
and Information Exchange pages have been updated, so if you sent me
a sighting or a request for the Information Exchange, it should be
up now.

A new page of Magazine Article References has been added. A few months
back some of the list members compiled a list of magazine articles from
model magazines which covered PC-related topics. The first version of
that list has now been added to the Library.

I have begun a new page in the Library for Frequently Asked Questions.
One question has been posted, and I'm sure more will follow.

Also in the Library, I have added another new page that I titled
Passenger Service materials, for lack of a better name. Here I have
posted a few public timetables, along with some Metroliner postcards,
courtesy of Stan Feldman. I've had a couple of those timetables
collecting virtual dust on my hard drive for almost two years, but
I finally created a place to put them.

Lastly, the web page for my site sponsor, Westside Locomotive Works,
has been updated and improved, so please stop by and pay them a visit.

Anyway, check it out, and I hope you enjoy the latest material. As
always, the PC web site is located at http://prozac.cwru.edu/jer/pc/

ObPC: I was out chasing an NS westbound coke train today west of
Cleveland, and by the last crossing I shot him at was a hobby shop.
Since I needed some more Kadee couplers, I stopped in. They had in a
display case an A-B-A set of HO Tyco F7s, painted in PC green with PC
lettering an an unprototypical "white P, red C" emblem. The set was
$30. I figured those would look good next to a Tyco C630 in Santa Fe
red-and-silver warbonnet colors.... :-)

Later,
-Jer
