Hi all!

In Findlay, Ohio during the mid-70's, if the local railfans were feeling
a bit daring, we would go down to the s-curve in town where PC crossed
the N&W at CP43.  Here we would wait for a freight to come through town
so we could watch the wheels lift up off the rail only to slam down and
yank the other side off!  Needless to say, we were a) a good distance
from the track and b) ready to run.  But for all the times this happened
that we witnessed and the countless others we did not, there was never a
derailment in Findaly at this curve during that era.  Actually, nothing
since then either.  Must be the ghost of Commodore Vanderbilt watching
over the curve!
