Today I had the pleasure of photographing CSXT SD38 2463, which if my
sources are correct began life as PC 6948. Since all my books are still in
storage, I forgot how many SD38's PC had. Anybody know?
As for the 2463, it is in good physical condition, YN2 paint scheme and no
mechanical issues. Assigned to work train service, which is usually the
last assignment before retirement. It's currently enroute Pittsburgh from
North East, MD with a ballast train. It is one of 2 SD38's still on the
CSXT roster.
