Dave until Conrail raised the roof on the Allegheny tunnel in Gallitzin the covered tri level had to go via the Buffalo line to Buffalo then west to ship the Chyrslers from Newark.  In teh PRR days the AN-16 has a listing for dimensional cars Tyrone to Lock Have to Enola to avoid the tunnels at Spruce Creek. ------  Ken

       I have the 207-B Clearances. Says max height is 17'-9''
between
Cresson and Altoona. I don't know if the means car height or top of rail
to tunnel roof.
      Anyways, no Verta Paks coming this way.
