BTW I also received as a back issue the Diesel Era magazine that featured
Penn Central F-units. Great article with lots of photos.
Back when I was watching Penn Central I did not see too many F-units but a
couple of them did roll by on the Middle Division through Tyrone, PA.
I recall an FP7 leading SD units on a coal train, F-units mixed within a
consist, vague memories of 3 F-units pushing a westbound ore train, and finally
a set of F-units in the old Tyrone yard getting ready to move some old boxcars
out of storage.
