PC: RE: Penn Central Digest V7 #28

Guys ;
        Have we ever though of having the Convention out here in Indiana
? I would be willing to start working on that for 2009 or 2010. I
would think The Big four yard Avon ... Indy ... Just a Thought ?

Many thanks! Greg Godfrey

Recalling properly, the old Whiting, IN interlocking tower was
grayish-white with black windowframes, door and shingle roof.

  What is/are the correct color(s) for ex-PRR frame buildings such as
towers/shanties/crossing towers, etc. In PRR/PC/NYC books and magazine
articles, as well as modeling renditions, I have seen 2-tone gray as
well as
all red. Thanks.

 For anyone who may have been inspired by Paul Blackenstose's
presentation "We Dig Coal" at the PCRRHS Convention: I have a set of
plans for a truck scale similar to those shown and described by Paul as
used at coal mines and tipples.
 The plans are for a scale built by Cardinal about 1975, with a capacity
of about 50 tons.
 Free to the first person to claim them and send $2.00 for postage.
