Hello John,

The  Alfred E. Smith name must have been dropped long before my day.  
All of the old timers always called it either the Selkirk or  
Castleton bridge. I don't recall anyone using the Alfred E. Smith  
Memorial Bridge name unless it was from a historical point of view.
