PC: PCRRHS Convention announcemnt

It's not too late to sign up for the Penn Central Railroad Historical Society's 2006 annual convention, "Baltimore District 2006" to be held in Timonium, MD, on September 14-16.

Planned activities include tours of an NS coal pier, the Baltimore & Ohio Museum, several presentations, the annual flea market, and of course several days of being around some great people who also like the Penn Central. Peter Binzen will not be able to speak as originally planned so an alternate program will be prepared.  For more details, visit the PCRRHS web site at http://www.pcrrhs.org/conv/convention2006.html.  Please note that membership is requried, so the fee would require an additional $20 for non-members.

A registration date of August 29 is shown on the form.  We need to know the number of attendees primarily for van rentals, since the tours MUST be done as a group.  Late registrations will be accepted, but due to the nature of the tours and the logistics required the decision to accomodate late signups will be at the discretion of the convention committee.  If you intend to register this coming week, or are not quite sure if you can make it, contact Jim Reaves at jereaves@msn.com.
