PC: Red Caboose Motel

(FRI) The new owner of the famed Red Caboose Motel in Paradise, PA, near
        Strasburg, said that the motel would reopen for business in
June. The
        motel, which was originally opened in 1970 but closed a few
years’ ago,
        consists of approximately 40 retired cabooses remodeled for overnight
        occupancy. The new owner, Larry DeMarco, said that the he would be
        spending approximately $2 million to acquire and renovate the motel.
        Formal ownership of the motel property was transferred to Mr.
DeMarco on
        Friday, from Susquehanna Bank, which had taken the property in
