That is a nice looking boxcar. And since I model PC in P&LE territory,
my layout someday should have at least one. :)

Tom, any idea what you'd use to model that car?

Yes as I have modeled one.  Start with a Branchline riveted side boxcar with a fishbelly side sill. Modifiy the side sill to represent the new sidesill that the P&LE added.  Add an appropriate 10' wide door. The door is probably the hardest to model since there is no readily available door.  You could use a modified Athearn "Railbox" door or perhaps a door from the Atlas ACF PD boxcar.  On mine I used resin doors that I made from a modified Athearn/Genesis boxcar.

Microscale makes 2 sets of P&LE boxcar decals.  I think that I used a combination of these to letter the car.
