Haven't had a chance to look at the Guide since you posted this but the
McKR 11 68 stands for McKees Rocks, Pa.
I believe that was the location of the P&LE car shops. The McKR stands for
the scale house code location where the car was mostly recently weighed (11
68) and probably repainted also.

In the PC Color Guide to Frt and Pass., on page 78, there is a
clear shot of P&LE/PC boxcar 24982 in the background. What class of
boxcar is that?
Also, there are some numbers over the "PC". In the reporting marks
it appears to be some sort of date: McKR 11 68. Any ideas on what that
means? Thanks...
