 I agree. If you're going for fidelity, that's all well and good, but if going for pure fidelity ends up crushing the fun out of it, then it becomes a job. A crappily underpaid one at that...
 Don't get me wrong. I'm all for accuracy, but it should be to your satisfaction, not to that of some rivet-counter. If anything, leave one on there. Watching rivet-counters go into an epileptic fit is, I'm ashamed to say, rather fun at times...
