Re: PC: Penn Central railroadiana for sale

Charles,
If you can get it, yes. Sorry about all this. We had a car
accident and are having a very difficult time with the other
person's (who was at fault) insurance company about paying the claim. Oddly
enough they paid quickly on the injury claim but to accept what they sent on
the car repair claim
means we will have to pay out of our own pocket the cost
for repairing our car which is insane considering the wreck
was not our fault in the first place. We were waiting at a red
light when we were hit from the rear by a car driven by a 17
year old girl who was too busy looking at wreck in her rear view mirror that
had been cleared off the road behind her.
Since that happened things have been in chaos for the most
part. The insurance company gave us a big run around making us call between
Atlanta and Birmingham and back to
Atlanta, then telling us no one had been assigned the claim, then telling us
they lost the accident report and estimate to repair the car we'd sent them,
then telling us....
I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. This whole
thing has just had us locked down for weeks.
The State insurance commissioners office has been of no help to us at all in
this. I don't see much of a way to get on with this but to take what we've
been given and pay out
for the rest.
Again, my apologies.
