Yea, for all the belly-aching the PRR guys do about PRR's "superior" paint
job and what a "let-down" PC's scheme was, you'd think PC took Santa Fe's
"warbonnet" scheme and painted it over! I have always felt that PC's scheme
was an improvement over PRR's (or NYC's) last scheme...
Now as to earlier PRR schemes... the 5 stripe scheme IS hard to beat, I
admit... but even then, that was for passenger equipment... the freight side
only got the single stripe...
