The following message got caught in the list server's "idiot filter" by
mistake, so I'm passing it along, including answers:
PY&A: Pittsburgh Youngstown & Ashtabula
E&P: Erie & Pittsburgh (prototype for my model railroad)
WNY&P: Western New York & Pennsylvania
Y&R: Youngstown & Ravenna
The former PRR-affiliated WNY&P has no connection to today's WNY&P, a
shortline operating the former Erie main line between Hornell, NY, and
Meadville, PA.

Hi guys,
Can anyone help me with the following railroad initials (these are all
former PRR affiliates from around the Central Region- Lake Region &
Erie/Ashtabula Divisions)
PY&A RR
E&P RR
WNY&P RR
Y&R RR
What do these stand for?
Thanks for any help...
Gary
