PC: Freight Trains back on NEC!!

  Hi Guys....

     ( a little off topic) Just wanted to pass on a little news......

      Norfolk Southern is testing freight trains on Amtrak's NEC. I'm
not talking about those 20 mph locals. They're testing Van trains at 65
mph. NS tested one last night; it came through Philly at 3:00am. I
understand that these trains will operate in daylight on a regular
schedule.
      I'll bet good money that NS will start running trains on the
Trenton Cufoff between Harrisburg and New York City. Amtrak needs the
money bigtime.
     Big black diesels running at track speed down the ex PRR main
reminds me of the Penn Central days!
