I looked into modeling this same area a few years ago, but dismissed the 
idea because lack of line side industries (or as many as I would like).  The 
trains listed below are trains that would operate in the area that you 
mentioned. They are taken from a PC Freight schedules from Nov 1 1975. I 
have listed them in the following way Train ID, Origin of the real train, 
Destination of the real train, Place where the trains would enter modeled 
main line, Place where the train would leave the modeled main line, and 
Towns worked en-route minus Avon yard along the modeled line. The following 
should be able to be pasted into Excel and have all the columns line up.
