     The merger date was brought up at today's PRRT&HS Phila. Chapter
meeting. As usual, the "boos" came from the members. I had to remind
some of them that the closest thing to the Pennsy is the Penn Central. 
     We all know that PRR and NYC were in great shape before the merger.
Both huge money makers before the merger. And in two years Penn Central
destroyed over 100 years of railroading,right? WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
