As a PC fan and (sometime) modeler, I get a warm,
fuzzy feeling when I see new model RR equipment decorated for PC, for
example Walther's Budd cars. And there seems to be more PC related items
within the last few years. I remember the dark days of the 1970's when PC
decorated equipment was pretty scarce. What was available was somewhat
far-fetched and unprototypical, like a F7 in jade green! I guess it's true that
time heals all wounds. Now the Penn Central is just another fallen flag like the
Western Maryland or Frisco and no longer the railroad enthusiasts' pariah.
