 I believe that PC was the first of many to cause the alarm to be pushed in Washington for deregulation to occur. I think it was a shame to see such dramatic and historic railroads that went under in just the 70's alone. This occured before my time(1971)but boy what i wouldn't give to see penn central still running.would've been great to see it run.
