PC: Two tidbits

Hi all,

Two things of interest:

A visitor to my web site alerted me last night that Atlas is releasing 
their HO "classic" RS1 in PC paint. Two numbers will be available. More 
info is at Altas' web site at http://www.atlasrr.com under "New Products."

Also, this month's Trains magazine has an article on Alfred Perlman, the 
former NYC and PC president. PC hardly gets mentioned in the article, as it 
focuses on Perlman's time at Western Pacific, after he was fired from PC. 
Still, it is an interesting look at an interesting person, and helps you 
understand how someone with his personality could have clashed with the 
more conservative PRR types in the PC organization.
