Re: PC: Penn Central SD-38 #6928




   I believe that all the SD-38's were delivered to PC in the full lettering 
scheme.  If you note the date (September 1976), these units have already 
been around for 6 years and are now Conrail units.  PC may also have done 
some maintanence on the two units and repainted the units themselves.  You 
never know though... when it comes to PC and paint schemes, anything goes.
