Since your letter on the 20th, I have seen a Merchandise Despatch flat
car.  Not a coincidence as I have seen it before.  It is lettered with
CR reporting marks.

Also, saw 2 C&O flats of same design (not full side sill) in same train.
Alas, blue and yellow, not tuscan and white.

Why was the spelling "Despatch" instead of "Dispatch"?  Because of
Despatch Shops?
