 In a form of conclusion, so that we may quit beating what's left of this
poor dead horse for now...
 Let us say that the idea of merging the Pennsylvania and New York Central
Railroads, two big players, into the Penn Central Railroad, one monster
player, was much like comtemporary ideas like the M551 Sheridan light tank,
the Ford Edsel, and the original Navy-Air Force F-111: a wonderful idea in
theory, but a disaster in reality.
