PC: ExPC Car in Providence RI

This past Sunday, I saw an exPC baggage car (Amtrak #17039) at the Providence RI
Amtrak maintenance yard, with green paint and white worms still intact. Another
older car was coupled behind it, but I could not see the markings.

It is amazing to see this area after the changes it has been through in the past
twenty four years. At the end of the PC era, it was a busy engine facility, with
a decent sized yard. By the late eighties, the yard had been erased, and large
vacant areas replaced it. Now, it has evolved into a much more compact rail
facility and developed business area.
