Re: PC: Conrail Exec. Train... past owners?

   I appreciate all the help I received on this question.  Still, my main 
questions were not really answered.  Let me try to rephrase:  I just 
received an N-scale set by Con-Cor called the "Conrail Executive Train".  
Basically, the set consists of one E-8 (4022) plus 4 passenger cars: one 
coach plus 3 observations... all heavyweights.  2 of the observations look 
standard issue: standard length, raised roof section, etc.  The last one 
(end car with a CONRAIL drumhead on the rear) looks totally different.  The 
car is much shorter (around 70 scale feet) with a round roof.  To me, it 
sure doesn't look anything like a "standard issue" heavyweight observation.  
In the PC color guide, there is a picture of a business car, PC #1, an 
ex-Southern RR car.  This car was bought by PC from the Southern, basically 
for the PC's new president (Moore) who hailed from the Southern.  To me, 
this is the closest thing to the end car of the Conrail exec. train.  Could 
this in fact be the same car?  If not, is it the same type of car?  The 
description below states that the car in the exec. train was not purchased 
until 1983 by Conrail.  In other words, I'm really getting confused.  Does 
anyone have any pictures of the Conrail exec. train, especially individual 
car photos.  I would especially be interested in seeing any of the cars of 
the exec. train in PC colors, as I plan on re-painting them as such.  As the 
subject of detail seems to going around, let me say that some degree of 
accuracy is important to me.  Thanks once again in advance...
