 What interested me most was that line of boxcars that trails off to the left
 rear. Last car appears PC,while the first is definitely LV. My question,and
 I am a self professed PC carpet-bagger from the near south,is what
 relationship was there between PC and LV that would produce like adorned
 cars,except for reporting marks?

The Lehigh Valley had boxcars that were identical to PRR X58 class, down
to the point of carrying X58B class markings on them; these cars were white.
They also had similar cars that were built at the Despatch Shops ( NYC);
these were the green cars and they came in both insulated and "regular" :^).
The green cars had the defacto NYC style ends on them ( similar to the
Pullman Standard ends, but not identical), as well as NYC font data stencils.
